Welcome to the 2008 Holmfirth Food & Drink Festival, which certainly promises to be the best yet with more venues than ever participating, providing special offers and one-off events throughout the weekend.
Whether you are a serious foodie or someone who just appreciates good food and drink, there's more than enough at our festival to ensure that you, and your friends and family, will have a great time. And you'll certainly be able to taste the difference.

The festival now in its third year, is an excellent showcase for producers and eateries alike and anyone visiting one of the participating establishments, won’t be disappointed.
And - you'll also find that our festival is great fun. There's a brilliant atmosphere throughout the weekend that you won't forget. There really is something for everyone, from gourmet sausage fan to beer lover.
Festival events will range from taster sessions of local produce, special menus, cookery demonstrations, tours, competitions, talks and much more.

A park and ride scheme will be in place on both days, look out for signage on your way into Holmfirth for parking information or check the festival website in early September for full details.

This year, the park and ride will also include a drop off and pick up point at Cragrats Café Bar so why not call in for a drink or lunch during your visit and enjoy a complimentary glass of organic wine?
