- but who won in 2008?
The 2009 Festival will prove to be the best yet with more venues than
ever participating, providing special offers and
one-off events throughout the weekend.
Whether you are a serious foodie or someone who just
appreciates good food and drink, there will be more than
enough at our festival to ensure that you, and your
friends and family, have a great time.
The festival now in its fourth year in 2009, is an
excellent showcase for producers and eateries
alike and anyone visiting one of the participating
establishments won't be disappointed.
Our festival is great fun. There will be a brilliant atmosphere
throughout the weekend that won't be forgotten. There
really is something for everyone, from gourmet
sausage fans to beer lovers.
Festival events ranged from taster sessions of
local produce, special menus, cookery
demonstrations, tours, competitions, talks and much
more.
A park and ride scheme will in place on
both days, with signage on the way into Holmfirth. This year, it also included a
drop off and pick up point.
We enjoyed seeing you in 2008 and would like

Festival is now considered by the food producers to
be one of the best in the North.
Deliciously Yorkshire and
British Food Fortnight are linking to our
festival, the
Yorkshire Tourist Board are attending and even
our local celebrities are asking to be involved, it
