The Giants go head to head with The Terriers in our 2009 Ready Steady Cook Challenge.  Who won?

This year we were pleased to announce our biggest programme to date.

Our fourth year was filled with fun packed events for everyone, be it sampling ‘gourmet’ food, tasting local beers, or having your face painted.
We enjoyed the atmosphere of a bustling vibrant market and indulged in an array of delicious delicacies to tempt the most discerning palate.

Entertainment in the market hall consisted of a variety of demonstrations, from butchery to pastry and cake making, to experiencing the ‘gift of oils’ and an elaborate wedding cake made of cheese.
Visitors voted for their favourite celebrity in the cook off challenges and watched first hand the local chefs produce some magical mouth watering dishes.
Children presented their healthy lunch boxes in our competition and took part in the ‘generation cookery’ game.
A free park and ride scheme was in place on both days.

We enjoyed seeing you there and would like to thank Longley Farm for sponsoring the Festival once again.
