    10.00am – 8.00pm - German beer garden open in Towngate Car Park.

    11.00am – 12noon - Ready, Steady, Cook in the Market Hall (upper floor) ‘Head versus Head’ (the Head of Greenhead College versus the Head of Holmfirth Junior School) watch as two local head teachers battle it out with help from Old Bridge Hotel Chef, Jason Bedford and Old Bridge Bakery Chef, Greg Christophi.

    12noon – 1.00pm -  Local produce cookery demonstration in the Market Hall (upper floor)
    Yorkshire chef of the year – Tim Bilton of the Butchers Arms

    1.00pm – 1.45pm -  ‘The Gift of Oils’ Phil Blanchi

    1.45pm – 2.15pm - Children’s competition
    The Mayor of Kirklees judging the children’s healthy lunch boxes.

    2.15pm – 3.00pm - Local produce cookery demonstration in the Market Hall (upper floor) – Alison Whitmarsh from ‘Propermaid’ making a Courgette and Lime cake.


    3.00pm - 5.00pm - for the hardier walker, a real Yorkshire walk complete with traditional pub tea, read more...

    3.00pm – 4.00pm - Local produce cookery demonstration in the Market Hall (upper floor) – Jason Bedford from the Old Bridge Hotel

    Don’t miss:
    All afternoon complimentary wine and tapas tastings outside Carniceria.
    The Library are making smoothies between 11am and 1pm and children are welcome to call in and have a go.
    From 2-4pm The Nook and Nook Real Ale Bar itinerary - tours and complimentary tastings.
    Colonel Custard children’s entertainer with shows throughout the day.
    Frumptarn Guggenheim Band performing between 11.30 and 3.30pm.

    2.00pm – 2.30pm - A Cheese Wedding Cake demonstration with Melanie Good

    2.30pm – 3.00pm - Tea tasting with Anita from Smythes Tea Rooms & Bistro

    3.00pm – 4.00pm - Children /Adult ‘Generation’ game with Chef, Pam Mollan
